The chef will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Chef will cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Chef also prepares ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing, adding seasonings; verifying taste; and portioning meals.
Cooks expediate orders, maintain the kitchen clean and organized, coordinate kitchen staff, prepare food using customer’s instructions, create new recipes, and develop menus.

Responsibilities
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts
- Redeem stamps and gift card
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
- Bag packages
Skills
- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Basic PC knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- High school degree
